Project Activities From the Field to the Community
Our activities are the heartbeat of the project. This is where our methodology meets the real world, transforming sports fields into laboratories for active citizenship. By engaging trainers, youth workers, and young leaders, we create a sustainable ecosystem of empowerment through action.
Core Pillars of Activity:
- The “Unity in Sport” Summer Camp
- An intensive, week-long residential experience where youth from diverse backgrounds come together. The camp serves as a high-impact incubator for our methodology, combining elite sports training with daily workshops on teamwork, inclusion, and civic leadership.
- Daily Club Integration Program
- Beyond the camp, we embed our educational framework into the routine of local sports clubs. These daily activities ensure that the values of respect and active citizenship are not just one-off lessons, but consistent habits reinforced during every practice and match throughout the year.
- Capacity Building for Mentors
- We host specialized training sessions for 30 sport trainers and 18 youth workers. These sessions equip them with the tools to facilitate “Reflective Huddles” and manage the social dynamics of their teams, effectively turning coaches into community mentors.
- Peer-Led Sports Festivals
- Led by our 30 youth peer educators, these local events are designed to be organized by youth for youth. These festivals act as a practical “final exam” for active citizenship, where young people take charge of logistics, coaching, and community outreach.
- The 20k Awareness Campaign
- A large-scale digital and local promotional effort designed to reach 20,000 people. Through social media storytelling and public events, we highlight the tangible impact of our activities and advocate for the role of sport in social education.
